Have I ever said that I’m a person who likes trying new things?
So I’m telling you now. Every play, sport, or any other activity could have something what we will like, or dislike. But like my family has been saing a propos food- how can you know you don’t like it if you’ve never tried!
So, in terms of that February was for me new experience-rich month. Starting with my first improv class, what I have to say brought lot of laugh and satisfaction. Through snowshoeing, what can be hard when you’re pulling sleigh with a child up the hill at least 45 degrees gradient. Further, tubing that brings lot of happiness, specially when it starts to spin you on pretty steep hill. For a moment I saw and even was part of apres ski party, it’s a fair cop I was looking for handsome snowboarders. And finally what is connected with last point, I checked one point from my “to do before you die” list- I took my first snowboard lesson ❤
On that lesson I thought it’s easier than everybody says.
I changed my mind when I went to Vail, and when I couldn’t do reservation for lesson anymore I decided to go with the flow and just slide down according to that what I’ve learnt before.
And it wasn’t so bad.
On blue trials.
Every time when I got to green trail, specially one cursed by me thousends times, Lionsway, I spend more time on my butt than on the board.
They’re for sure easier for beginners.
But on a board, with flat trial every 10 metres, if you will not fall, you’ll have to take out one leg and then sit to put that back.
For beginners who decide to go there I recommend for sure Lost Boy, when I had few beautiful falls, but it was worth it.
At the end of the day I was more tired than after one 10-miles run. My hands were shaking and the only thing I could do was sitting and gazing at space. Only hot chocolate could get me on my feet.
Vail village itself is for sure worth seeing. It’s absolutely different than others, that I saw before- Breckenridge, Glenwood or Aspen.
Also I had finally possibility to do some hiking! These views not ones took my breath away, or often I had feeling that again I watch AnimalPlanet of Discovery Channel. I couldn’t believe that I live so close to something so beautiful.
Few photos at the end.
BRECKENRIDGE (during Valentine’s Day)
(What you should do in Vail when you’re not up the mountain and you have no money to shopping there? In the evening I recommend going to Red Lion, after 9 p.m.- 21+ ;P
For lunch awesome is Pepi’s Bar in the middle of Vail Village.
Around 2 p.m. it’s lot of fun to go to Lift nr 1 in Vail Village, sit on patio and watch (theoretically) blue trial overthere. It’s really worth it.)
And if you’re so lucky and sleep in Marriott Hotel or another good hotel, after exhausting day on a mountain, play a little bit with massage in a bath.

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore. Dream. Discover.”
I hope I didn’t forget about anything.
